Culinary School Graduation

Hi, it’s me! I’m back from the trenches of culinary school. I survived NYC (although barely at times) and it’s so good to be back in Portlandia. Pacific Northwest, oh, how I missed you!

I’m now in the midst of completing my culinary internship in the beautiful farm-to-table kitchen at Clarklewis restaurant. That’s keeping me busy, amongst unpacking boxes and exploring all my old favorite places in Portland.

In the coming weeks, I’m looking forward to re-launching freshabits.com. I’ll be blogging in full force to share with you all that I learned about the connection between food, health, healing and happiness. I’m overflowing with ideas for scrumptious new recipes for you to test out.

Congratulations to my fellow classmates at the Natural Gourmet Institute. Wishing class 223 the best of luck as we all move onto exciting, new career adventures. In the words of Chef Rich, may your life be full of dharma, wholeness and absolute beauty. Hope we can all get our Doshas back in balance!

Here’s a little video to celebrate and remember our time together in the kitchen and the classroom…

And remember the intelligence of our bodies is the intelligence of nature. Never stop learning.

Loved the graduation video…what an accomplishment (the video as well as graduation!)

Enjoy your blog so much, and even though I rarely cook, I do prepare your salad dressing. Know you will continue to inspire me and very much look forward to future posts.
